Boom vs Bust – Design vs Lust

Well, here is a topic which has been an on going debate since 2008. What is the title about? We all know about the latest recession and are just picking up in the economy.
In terms of companies, recession can be a ‘boom’ factor as well as a ‘bust’ factor. Design vs lust…. lust in terms of users desire to purchase during the recession. Why they did stop buying, yes they reduced to what they purchased but not extensively.
For my dissertation I will be posting my progress with you, and findings. However I would love to see all your opinions and even personal experiences upon the recession and how it has affected you. Remember it can always be positive as well as negative.
